This a very common issue when doing performance upgrades to the Trans Am’s with shaker hoods. We have a drop base air cleaner made that will drop 1" to allow your shaker to fit. Only works on Pontiac engines with Pontiac shaker base plates. Will not work on SBC or 403 Olds.
